See What They See: a free check of how customers find you

Find out if customers can find you, before they find someone else.

You know what your shop looks like from the sidewalk. This shows you what it looks like from a phone.

See what they see

Who it's for

  • Sole providers and small shops in Toronto
  • Barbers, salons, nail and lash studios, bakeries, cafés, florists, tailors, pet shops, trades and other local services
  • Owners who are too busy doing great work to think about Google

What I check (your digital storefront)

  • Your front door. Your Google listing. Are your hours right? Does every map point to your door?
  • Your sign. Your Google category. A barber listed as a hair salon can miss "barber near me."
  • Your window. Your reviews and photos. What do people see walking by?
  • The new Yellow Pages. Ask Google, on Maps and in AI Mode, then ChatGPT, for what you do near your corner. Does any of them name you?

How I check

  1. You fill in the short form. No call, no passwords.
  2. I start with Google, where most customers still find you: I search what you do "near me" from about 1 km away, the way a nearby customer would.
  3. I ask Google AI Mode and ChatGPT the questions your customers ask.
  4. I look at your listing, photos, reviews and website, and when I can, your actual storefront.
  5. I write up what I found, in plain language.

Your report answers three questions:

  1. Where do you show up today?
  2. Who shows up instead?
  3. What are the three changes that matter most?

Price and turnaround

Free. Your report arrives within 2 business days. I do 5 free checks a week. Made in Toronto, for Toronto.

What I don't do

No fake reviews. No passwords. No promise of #1. Nobody honest can promise a ranking, on Google or in AI.

What AI looks for

Is your business AI-ready?

AI doesn't show a list of web pages. It picks a few names. Soon, AI agents will go further and book or buy for people. They'll choose from what they can find, and trust, about you.

An AI-ready business has:

  • A page for every service, with prices written in words, not in a picture
  • The right hours, including holidays, everywhere
  • A way to book or order without a phone call
  • The same name, address and phone everywhere
  • New reviews coming in, with replies
  • A window that changes with the seasons: fresh photos and current posts

That's what I help with. I get your digital storefront ready to be found, named and booked.

Questions

Is this the same as GEO, AEO or local SEO?

Those are the industry names. GEO and AEO mean showing up in AI answers. Local SEO means showing up on Google Maps and in local search. This check covers all three, in plain language.

Should I care more about Google or about AI?

Google, first. Most customers still find local businesses through Google Search and Maps, so that's where I start. AI is growing fast, and its answers often come from the same information. Get Google right and you're ready for both.

Can AI really book for people now?

It's starting. Google's AI can already book restaurant tables in Canada, and it's expanding. The businesses that are ready first are the ones it will pick.

Is it really free?

Yes. You keep the report. If you want help with the fixes afterward, I'll explain your options. No pressure.

What do you need from me?

Your business name, address, what you do and an email. That's it.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT or Google will recommend me?

No, and be careful of anyone who does. I can make your business clear, consistent and easy to trust. That's what AI and Google look for.

Why only 5 a week?

I do every one by hand. When the week is full, you go on the list for the next one.

Do I need a website?

No. Many great businesses run on a Google listing alone. I'll check what you have.

Will you call me?

No. Everything comes by email. Reply if you want to talk.

Do you need my passwords?

Never. If you later want me to make fixes, you add me as a manager and can remove me anytime.

Can you guarantee I'll rank first?

No, and nobody honest can. I fix what makes you easy to find and trust. That part I can verify.
